Last Friday, students from Stage One participated in S.T.E.A.M workshops focussed on problem solving, critical thinking and creative thinking. Our parent volunteers who led the workshops were absolutely amazing. The students were highly engaged and learnt so much! The activities were;

Coding with Luke Bellamy
Bones and Veterinary science with John and Sonya Estens
Native bees with Brydie Pereda
Drama with Renae Price
Sustainability with Nikki Nibolo
Balloon Rockets with Nigel and Rose Hogan

Enjoy the photos of this wonderful day of learning.

BOOKWEEK 2018

Stage One looked spectacular in their Bookweek costumes. They were excited to parade with a primary buddy class and do a longer walk around the primary cola through the crowd. It was a very exciting day and families joined classes after recess to hear a shortlisted book and participate in an activity that required problem solving and creative thinking. We love books and dressing up as characters at Belair. Enjoy the pictures!

Grandfriends' Day 2018

We had a fantastic day last Thursday for Grandfriends' Day. The hall looked spectacular with the artwork from K-2 students. The junior choir sang beautifully and all classes had their moment on stage to sing and dance. We even performed an old fashioned round which the teachers did when they were at school!
Everyone was so excited to have visitors in their classroom. Stage One students made mouse puppets based on the story 'Hickory Dickory Dash'.
Thankyou to all the Grandfriends that visited our school and made it such a successful day.
